Lyrics

[Verse 1]
I promise
I promise to uphold
The highest standards
In service to the ultimate supreme objective
[Verse 2]
I promise to do whatever
Is necessary to accomplish
The prime directive
To love each other as sister and brother
[Verse 3]
I promise to exceed what is expected of me
By going over and above
What is asked of me
In the general breakdown
Of my job description
[Bridge]
I promise, if I accept this assignment
As a walking, talking, living, loving entity
I promise to be the best me
That I can possibly be
[Chorus]
I promise
So help me God
I promise
